UP T20 League 2024 Points Table: Updated standings after Noida Super Kings vs Kashi Rudras, Match 13

On Saturday, August 31, Gorakhpur Lions and Meerut Mavericks squared off in the 12th match of the UP T20 League 2024 while Meerut Mavericks and Noida Super Kings locked horns in the next.

The Mavericks registered a 48-run win over the Lions to solidify their first spot with four consecutive wins. Similarly, the Rudras secured their fourth win in a row against the Super Kings by three wickets.

Kanpur Superstars are in the middle of the table with two wins and as many losses. Meanwhile, Lucknow Falcons and Lions, who switched their positions, hold the next two spots, with one win and three losses each.

Noida Super Kings are languishing at the bottom of the table with four losses in five games. They have a negative net run rate of -1.636, the worst among all six teams.

Mavericks and Rudras extend their winning streak to four

Gorakhpur Lions were put to bowl first. Madhav Kaushik’s 47 off 28 with eight boundaries, Uvaish Ahmed’s 37 from 23 with one and three sixes, and Yash Garg’s quick-fire knock of 26* (11) helped Meerut Mavericks set a 165-run target for the Lions. Shivam Sharma and Ankit Rajpoot claimed two wickets each.

In reply, after Yashu Pradhan (28) gave a strong start, the rest of the Lions team failed to back him, resulting in them getting all out for 116. The triple strikes each from Yash Garg and Zeeshan Ansari played a key role for the Mavericks.

Kashi Rudras secured their fourth win over Noida Super Kings. Noida batted first and posted 158 with Prashant Veer’s 52 off 36, Aditya Sharma’s 33, and Kavya Teotia’s 26. Sunil Kumar chipped in two wickets.

In reply, with skipper Karan Sharma’s 29, Almas Shaukat’s 37, and Arnav Baliyan’s six-ball 25*-run knock, Rudras chased the target in 18.5 overs. Mohammad Sharim secured three wickets for the Kings while skipper Piyush Chawla picked up two.
