The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the Team India squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh on Saturday (September 28). The selectors rested most of the multi-format players and chose a relatively inexperienced side for the series.

Captain Suryakumar Yadav and all-rounder Hardik Pandya are expected to guide the team filled with youngsters. Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson will most probably get a consistent run in the top order in the three matches in the absence of regular starters Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Rishabh Pant.

Promising talents Nitish Kumar Reddy and Mayank Yadav, who set the stage on fire during IPL 2024, have earned call-ups to the national team. IPL 2024 winning KKR bowlers Varun Chakaravarthy and Harshit Rana have also got a chance.

Team India and Bangladesh's squads for the upcoming three-match T20I series

The New Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior will host the series opener on October 6. The next two games will be held on October 9 and 12 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi and Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
