India and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) pacer Tushar Deshpande took to Instagram to express gratitude for the teachers who have played a huge role in his life. He posted a picture of his father with legendary wicketkeeper MS Dhoni and wished them well on the occasion of Guru Purnima.
Deshpande has been vocal about how Dhoni has gotten the best out of him several times. His father has also played a vital role in shaping his personality from a young age.

Tushar Deshpande made his India debut against Zimbabwe
Deshpande made his T20I debut for India during the series against Zimbabwe earlier this month. The pacer took to Instagram to share a picture of himself posing with the Indian cap.
The pacer tried to express the emotions he had been feeling on receiving his maiden Indian cap and thanked his parents for the hard work and the sacrifices they had made to watch him achieve his dream.
"A childhood dream, a family dream has come true today. I cannot put in words the feelings rushing through my veins. This is and will always will be the most cherished moment of my life. My mother had already seen what I was capable of and I miss her today. I feel very proud to be able to fullfill what my parents wanted as they have sacrificed and supported the most in my journey. 🙏🏻😇 Proud and honoured to wear the India Cap! 🧢 🇮🇳 || जय बजरंग बली || 🌺🙏🏻," Deshpande wrote.
Deshpande played the final two T20Is in the series against Zimbabwe, racking up figures of 1/25 and 1/30 in the two outings where he bowled three overs each.
