Preysal SC secured a 34-run win over Profilbau Victoria United in the third game of the Trinidad T20 Festival 2024 while Clarke Road United picked up a one-run thrilling win against Powergen Penal SC in the fourth match.
In the third game, Preysal SC batted first and notched up a total of 159/4 in 20 overs. Justin Jagessar scored 56 runs in 44 balls with five fours and two sixes while Adrian Cooper, the skipper, scored 51* runs in 38 balls with one four and four sixes. Clinton Pestano picked up two wickets.
In response, Profilbau Victoria United got bundled out for 125 runs in 18.2 overs. No. 3 batter Shaqkere Parris smacked 60 runs in 34 balls with seven fours and three sixes. Aneal Rooplal was the wrecker-in-chief with a five-wicket haul.
