Dindigul Dragons secure victory over Lyca Kovai Kings and IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans dominate Salem Spartens

Dindigul Dragons won the toss against Lyca Kovai Kings and elected to bowl. Shahrukh Khan’s unbeaten knock of 51 runs off 25 deliveries helped the Kovai Kings post a total of 172 runs for the loss of five wickets. Varun Chakravarthy was the pick of the bowlers for the Dragons and took two wickets for 29 runs in four overs.

Baba Indrajith played an attacking knock of 96 runs off 49 deliveries and remained unbeaten. He helped the Dragons reach the target of 173 runs in 19.2 overs with five wickets in hand. Indrajith won the Player of the Match award for his batting performance.

In the 20th match, IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans won the toss and elected to bat. Amit Sathvik and Tushar Raheja scored a half-century each for the Tiruppur Tamizhans, helping them post 192/9 in 20 overs. S Guru Sayee and M Poiyamozhi were the most successful bowlers for the Spartans and took three wickets each.

Only three batters managed to make double-digit scores for the Spartans. They scored 141 runs for the loss of eight wickets and lost the match by 51 runs. Mohamed Ali took three wickets for 10 runs in three overs and won the Player of the Match award.
