TNPL 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after Nellai Royal Kings vs Trichy Grand Cholas (Updated) ft. Arun Karthik and Saravana Kumar

The 18th match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League 2024 was played between Trichy Grand Cholas and Nellai Royal Kings at the Indian Cement Company Ground in Tirunelveli. Riding on an exceptional knock of 84 off 51 balls from skipper Arun Karthik, Nellai Royal Kings posted 177 runs in the first innings.

Despite wickets falling in quick intervals, Karthik, single-handedly, guided the team to a competitive score on the board. Saravana Kumar was the pick of the bowlers for Trichy Grand Cholas, claiming four wickets for 30 runs in four overs.

Antony Dhas also chipped in with two wickets for 28 runs in three overs. In pursuit of the target, the Grand Cholas kept losing wickets in regular intervals. The likes of Waseem Ahmed (27), Rajkumar (22), and Shyam Sundar (31) got starts, but, unfortunately, got out against the run of play.

Jafar Jamal also looked good for his 39 off 27 but he was the third player to get run-out during their innings. However, R Rajkumar (31* off 13) held his nerves and guided the team home in the final over. He was supported by Sanjay Yadav, who amassed 23 off 16.

Sanjay Yadav is sitting at the top of the pile with 209 runs in five matches. B Sachin is at second with 169 runs, followed by Arun Karthik at three with 164 runs.

Meanwhile, the fourth spot is occupied by R Kavin with 160 runs, while Jagadeesan holds on to the fifth spot with 159 runs.

Waseem Ahmed is at sixth with 159 runs to his name. B Aparajith finds himself at seventh with 143 runs, while Tushar Raheja is at eighth with 136 runs. The ninth and tenth spots are occupied by Jafar Jamal (125) and P Ranjan Paul (122), respectively.

Saravana Kumar is at the top of the list with nine wickets, followed by M Poiyamozhi with nine wickets. Shahrukh Khan has eight wickets and is sitting at third on the list.

V Athisayaraj Davidson and M Mohammed are at the fourth and fifth spots, respectively. Both have eight wickets each to their name.

K Easwaran has seven wickets and finds himself at sixth. He is followed by Murugan Ashwin (7), G Periyaswamy (7), and Abhishek Tanwar (7) at the seventh, eighth, and ninth spots, respectively.

Sunny Sandhu rounds off the top-ten list with seven wickets to his name.
