TNPL 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after Nellai Royal Kings vs Salem Spartans (Updated) ft. R Sonu Yadav and ME Yazh Arun Mozhi

Nellai Royal Kings faced Salem Spartans in the ninth match in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2024 on Thursday, July 11. The Kings won the match chasing 141 in 18.5 overs with three wickets.

Nellai Royal Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first. Salem Spartans weren’t steady with the wickets falling at regular intervals. Robin Bist was the high scorer for the team scoring 23 runs off 20 balls. Sonu Yadav was the standout bowler for Nellai Royal Kings ending with figures 5/30.

In response, the Kings also struggled to score runs as the pitch favored the bowlers. Ajitesh Guruswamy (45 from 36) and Laxmesha Suryaprakash (43 from 35) stood steadily to add to the scoreboard a 40-run partnership. NE Yazh Arun Mozhi scalped three wickets for 17 runs in the consigned over but in vain. Sonu Yadav was awarded Player of the Match for his five-wicket haul.

R Kavin takes over the top spot with 132 runs from three innings at a strike rate of 137.50. Narayan Jagadeesan falls to the second position scoring 117 runs from three outings at an average of 58.50.

P Ranjan Paul takes the third position with 107 runs with a strike rate of 137.17. Tushar Raheja stays in the fourth spot with 101 runs from two innings with an average of 50.50.

Waseem Ahmed secures the fifth slot with 96 runs at a strike rate of 168.42.

R Silambarasan jumps from eighth position to take the third position with five wickets from two games at an average of 12.6. Daryl Ferrario has five wickets to his name and stays in fourth position with an economy of 7.66.

Abhishek Tanwar has taken five wickets to take the fifth position with an economy of 8.00.
