TNPL 2024: Most Runs and Most Wickets after Nellai Royal Kings vs Lyca Kovai Kings (Updated) ft. Balasubramaniam Sachin & Shahrukh Khan

Siechem Madurai Panthers and IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans met in the 14th match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2024 on Saturday, July 13. Meanwhile, Nellai Royal Kings and Lyca Kovai Kings squared off in the next.

Siechem Madurai Panthers had set a 157-run target for nine wickets with Uthirasamy Sasidev (41) being the top scorer. S Ajith Ram took a three-wicket haul for the Tamizhans while Ramalingam Rohit picked up two.

In reply, IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans chased the target in 18.2 overs thanks to Balchander Anirudh’s 28-ball 52-run knock. He was well backed by Mohamed Ali’s unbeaten 33 off 27 and Amit Sathvik’s 23 off 13.

Nellai Royal Kings were asked to bat first. They posted a 168-run target, losing seven wickets in the process. Arun Karthik top-scored 47 for the Kings followed by Sonu Yadav (43) and NS Harish (29).

M Shahrukh Khan and Mohammed Mohammed chipped in two wickets each for the Lyca Kovai Kings. Jhathavedh Subramanyan, Valliappan Yudheeswaran, and Manimaran Siddharth took one wicket apiece. In reply, Lyca Kovai Kings achieved the target courtesy of half-centuries from Suresh Kumar (63* off 55) and Balasubramaniam Sachin (76 off 48).

Balasubramaniam Sachin (169) jumped from the sixth position to the first after scoring an excellent 76-run knock on Saturday.

R Kavin of Salem Spartans slipped from first to second position, scoring 132 runs in three games at an average of 44. Similarly, Narayan Jagadeesan (117), Pradosh Paul (107), and Tushar Raheja (104) dropped to the next three spots, respectively.

K Easwaran and Murugan Ashwin continue to lead the most wickets leaderboard, each with seven wickets. Similarly, Sonu Yadav, having taken six wickets in three matches, holds onto his third position.

M Shahrukh Khan of Lyca Kovai Kings has climbed to fourth place after securing a wicket in the last game, bringing his total to five wickets. He shares this tally with six other players in the top 10.
