TNPL 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after Nellai Royal Kings vs Dindigul Dragons (Updated) ft. Shivam Singh and Karthick Manikandan

Chepauk Super Gillies faced Siechem Madurai Panthers in the 27th match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League on Sunday, July 28. They elected to bowl after winning the toss. Suresh Lokeshwar’s 55 runs off 40 deliveries helped the Madurai Panthers post a total of 191 runs for the loss of four wickets. Abhishek Tanwar, Baba Aparajith, M Silambarasan, and Ashwin Crist took one wicket each.

Pradosh Ranjan Paul and D Santhosh Kumar had a decent outing with the bat for the Super Gillies. The team made 182 runs for the loss of eight wickets and lost the match by nine runs. Karthick Manikandan was the pick of the bowlers and took three wickets for 23 runs in three overs. Lokeshwar won the Player of the Match award.

Nellai Royal Kings elected to bowl after winning the toss against Dindigul Dragons in the 28th match. The Dragons were bundled out for 136 runs in 19.4 overs. Shivam Singh was the highest scorer and made 70 runs off 59 deliveries. Sonu Yadav was the pick of the bowlers and took two wickets for 23 runs in 3.4 overs.

Arun Karthik and Ajitesh Guruswamy scored 40-plus runs each for the Royal Kings. They helped the Royal Kings reach the target of 137 runs in 17.5 overs with four wickets in hand. Varun Chakravarthy and Ravichandran Ashwin picked two wickets each. Ajitesh won the Player of the Match award.
