TNPL 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after Dindigul Dragons vs Salem Spartans (Updated) ft. Baba Indrajith and Sunny Sandhu

Dindigul Dragons faced Salem Spartans in the sixth match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2024 on Monday, July 8, at the SCF Cricket Ground in Salem. The Dragons won the toss and elected to bat.

The Dragons lost their first two wickets for 29. Vimal Khumar and Baba Indrajith added 64 for the third wicket. Vimal scored 47 off 32, while Indrajith made 51 off 34. They helped the Dragons to 149-9 in 20 overs. Sunny Sandhu and Harish Kumar took two wickets each for the Spartans.

S Abhishek and R Kavin added 59 for the first wicket. Abhishek made 28 off 26, while Kavin made 46 off 34. Rajendran Vivek remained unbeaten on 51 off 28. The Spartans reached their target of 150 in 18.1 overs with seven wickets in hand. Sandeep Warrier and Varun Chakaravarthy picked up one wicket each.

R Kavin has jumped to first place from fifth with 116 runs in two TNPL matches at an average of 58. Balasubramaniam Sachin has slipped to second with 93 runs in two games at a strike rate of 120.77.

Baba Indrajith has jumped to third with 84 runs in two outings at an average of 42. Tushar Raheja has moved to fourth from second with 81 off 57 in his first outing. Narayan Jagadeesan has slipped to fifth from third with 81 runs in two outings at a strike rate of 119.11.

K Easwaran remains the leading wicket-taker in the TNPL with six wickets for 32 runs in his first match. Abhishek Tanwar is second with four wickets in two innings at an economy of 7.83.

Daryl Ferrario is third with four wickets in two games at a strike rate of nine. Sunny Sandhu has jumped to fourth with four wickets in two innings at an economy of 9.33.

Meanwhile, Murugan Ashwin remains fifth with three wickets for 20 runs in his first outing.
