TNPL 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after Chepauk Super Gillies vs IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans (Updated) ft. Pradosh Paul and Mohamed Ali

IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans faced Chepauk Super Gillies in the 8th match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League 2024 on Wednesday, July 10, and elected to bowl after winning the toss.

The Super Gillies lost their first two wickets for just 31 runs. Narayan Jagadeesan and Pradosh Paul added 53 runs for the third wicket. Pradosh Paul remained unbeaten on 67 runs off 46 deliveries. The team posted a total of 157 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Mohamed Ali was the pick of the bowlers and took three wickets for 29 runs in four overs.

S Ganesh scored 61 runs off 35 deliveries for the Tiruppur Tamizhans. However, no other batter crossed the 20-run mark for the team. Tiruppur Tamizhans scored 142 runs for the loss of eight wickets and lost the match by 15 runs. Pradosh won the Player of the Match award for his batting performance.

Pradosh Ranjan Paul has jumped to the third position and has 107 runs to his name in two innings at an average of 107.

Tushar Raheja has moved to fourth place from sixth and has amassed 101 runs in two innings at a strike rate of 127.84.

Waseem Ahmed has slipped to fifth position from second with 96 runs in two outings at a strike rate of 168.42.
