The Hundred Women’s 2024: Most Runs and Most Wickets after Welsh Fire vs Southern Brave (Updated) ft. Danni Wyatt and Jess Jonassen

Welsh Fire beat Southern Brave by seven wickets in Match 17 of The Hundred Women's 2024 on Monday at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. After batting first, the Brave struggled to find their feet and were bowled out for 84 in 91 balls. Georgia Adams was their top-scorer with 17 off 18 balls. Smriti Mandhana bagged a golden duck after Freya Davies dismissed her.

Hayley Matthews was the standout bowler for the Fire with three wickets. Davies and Jess Jonassen took two scalps apiece. The Fire chased down the target with 10 balls left in their innings. Opening batter and skipper Tammy Beaumont made 34 runs off 36 balls with six fours.

Nat Sciver-Brunt of the Trent Rockets stayed as the leading run-scorer of the tournament. In four matches, the veteran has scored 188 runs at an average of 94 and a strike-rate of 131.46 with two half-centuries to her name. Danni Wyatt of the Brave is second in the list 179 runs with a top score of 61 to show for her efforts.

Young Oval Invincibles batter Alice Capsey has notched 148 runs and has looked in excellent form with the bat in hand. Laura Wolvaardt, Ellyse Perry, Anabelle Sutherland, Sophia Dunkley and Sarah Bryce have also been among the runs in the competition.

Annabel Sutherland is the leading wicket-taker of the Hundred Men competition. The youngster has taken nine wickets from four matches at an economy rate of 3.78 and also has a four-wicket haul. Experienced Australian left-arm spinner Jess Jonassen has picked up eight wickets from five matches at an economy rate of 6.76.

Georgia Davis has eight wickets to her name. Heather Graham, Katie Levick and Kate Cross have taken seven wickets apiece.
