Birmingham Phoenix Women and Southern Brave Women met at the Edgbaston, Birmingham in the 13th match of The Hundred Women's 2024 on Saturday, August 3. Trent Rockets Women and Welsh Fire Women locked horns in the next at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.
Southern Brave won the toss and elected to field first in the first game. Birmingham Phoenix posted a 138-run target for the loss of seven wickets. Amy Jones was the top-scorer with a half-century while Emily Arlott (22), Ellyse Perry (14), and Sterre Kalis (14) made handy contributions. Tilly Corteen-Coleman took two wickets for the Brave while the rest took one wicket each.
In reply. Phoenix bowled Southern Brave out to 121/10 in 97 balls. Danielle Wyatt top-scored 43 off 33 followed by Freya Kemp 23 off 19. Perry and Charis Pavely chipped in three wickets each for the Phoenix while Katie Levick, Arlott, and Hannah Baker picked up one each.
In the second game, Trent Rockets opted to bat first and lost their openers within 10 balls. However, skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt’s 37, Ashleigh Gardner’s 31, Natasha Wraith’s 28, and Heather Graham’s 27 resulted in a 130-run total.
In reply, Welsh Fire chased the target with two balls to spare. Sarah Bryce played a match-winning 39-ball 51-run knock while Jess Jonassen and Hayley Matthews added 26 and 20 runs each.

Nat Sciver Brunt retained her top spot on the most runs leaderboard, with 188 runs in four games. She scored 37 runs in the previous game.
Dani Wyatt scored a 43-run knock in the last game and moved from fourth to second spot with 165 runs. On the other hand, Ellyse Perry (145) of Birmingham Phoenix scored 14 runs in the previous games and dropped to third position.
Laura Wolvaardt (127) also slipped from third to fourth position, averaging 63.50. Meanwhile, Sophia Dunkley retained her fifth spot, having scored 121 runs at an impressive average of 60.5.
The Hundred Women's 2024 Most Wickets List
Annabel Sutherland continues to dominate the most wickets charts with eight wickets in her tally. Meanwhile, Heather Graham moved from third to second, Katie Levick climbed to third, and Georgia ascended to fourth position with seven wickets each.
Linsey Smith dropped from second to fifth while Jess Jonassen jumped from ninth to sixth, both taking six wickets apiece.
