Women's Hundred 2024 Most Runs List Updated after Match 11

London Spirit Women and Welsh Fire Women met in the 10th match of The Hundred Women's 2024 on Thursday, August 1. Southern Brave Women and Manchester Originals Women locked horns in the next at The Rose Bowl, Southampton.

Welsh Fire opted to bowl first and restricted London Spirit to 150/5. Danielle Gibson (41), Deepti Sharma (39*), and Meg Lanning (31) were the top scorers. Freya Davies took two wickets for Welsh Fire while Beth Langston, Jess Jonassen, and Georgia Davis picked up one each.

In reply, Welsh Fire chased the target in 95 balls thanks to Hayley Matthews’ 46-ball 78-run knock. Danielle Gibson claimed two wickets in 15 balls while Tara Norris and Sarah Glenn took one apiece.

In the second game, Southern Brave batted first and set a modest target of 136 for five wickets. Danni Wyatt (61) led the batting department with a half-century while Maia Bouchier and Charli Knott added 24 and 27 runs each. Sophie Ecclestone secured two wickets while Kim Garth and Fi Morris took one apiece.

In response, Manchester Originals comfortably achieved the target with two balls to spare. Laura Wolvaardt was the top-scorer with an unbeaten 78 off 52 followed by Eve Jones (39). Georgia Adams chipped in two wickets while Lauren Cheatle picked up one.

Nat Sciver Brunt continues to sit at the pole position of the most runs leaderboard with 151 runs. Ellyse Perry of Birmingham Phoenix is ranked second, scoring 131 runs in three games at an average of 43.66.

Laura Wolvaardt (127) climbed to the third position after scoring her season-best 78-run unbeaten knock in the last game. Her knock featured 11 boundaries.

Dani Wyatt scored a fifty in the last game and secured the fourth spot with 122 runs. Following closely, Sophia Dunkley moved from fourth to fifth position, having scored 121 runs in three matches at an excellent average of 60.5.
