Northern Superchargers Women steamrolled Oval Invincibles by 82 runs in match 12 of The Hundred Women’s 2024 season on Friday, July 2 at The Oval.
Losing both openers to Rachel Slater, number three batter Phoebe Litchfield led Superchargers recovery with a solid 50-run partnership with Annabel Sutherland. While Litchfield scored 44 from 30 balls, Sutherland smeared an unbeaten 63 from just 40 deliveries with five boundaries and three sixes. Their collective efforts, coupled with Bess Heath’s 15-run cameo set up Northern Superchargers’ 146-run total at the expense of just four wickets in 100 balls.
Chasing 147, Oval Invincibles line-up crumbled out for just 64 off 66 balls to fall 82 runs short of their target. Paige Scholfield (24 off 19 balls) and Amanda-Jade Wellington (26 off 21 balls) themselves accounted for 50 of those runs. Meanwhile, the rest of the line-up collectively conjured just the remaining 14 runs. As many as six Invincibles batters fell for ducks, while opener Chamari Athapaththu managed just a run to her name.
For Northern Superchargers, Sutherland picked up figures of 4/11. Kate Cross (2/15) and Linsey Smith (2/10) dismantled the Invincibles with two wickets each.
The Hundred Women's 2024 Most Runs List
Nat Sciver-Brunt continues to remain the run-scoring leader of The Hundred Women’s 2024 season with 151 runs from three innings. The Trent Rockets star is followed by Ellyse Perry (131 runs), Laura Wolvaardt (127 runs), Danni Wyatt (122 runs) and Sophia Dunkley (121 runs) as the five highest run-scorers of the season.
Alice Capsey, also with 121 runs from three innings, is ranked sixth on the top 10 list. Paige Scholfield (106 runs) takes the seventh spot while Meg Lanning and Heather Knight occupy the subsequent two positions with 96 runs each. Annabel Sutherland stormed into the top 10 with 88 runs after smacking a match-winning 63*.

Annabel Sutherland picked up four wickets against Oval Invincibles to climb to the top of the wicket-taking charts of The Hundred Women’s 2024 season with eight scalps. She is followed by her teammate Linsey Smith with six wickets to her name.
Heather Graham, Katie Levick and Georgia Davis have also snapped six wickets to round up the top five rankings in terms of highest wicket-takers of the season. Amanda Wellington and Sarah Glenn take the subsequent two positions with five wickets each to their name. Lauren Bell, Jess Jonassen and Sophie Ecclestone occupy the final three slots on the top 10 charts with four wickets each.
