The Hundred Women’s 2024 season continued on Sunday, August 4 with a double-header in England. The first match of the day and the 15th of The Hundred Women 2024 turned out to be a 113-run stalemate between London Spirit and Oval Invincibles.

Batting first, London Spirit somehow conjured 113/9 from 100 balls, largely owing to Deepti Sharma’s calculated 34-ball 44. For the Invincibles, Marizanne Kapp castled each of London Spirit’s top four batters to bag figures of 4/11. Sophia Smale (2/22) and Ryana MacDonald-Gay (2/26) also claimed two wickets each in the low-scoring innings.

Chasing 114, Oval Invincibles also cracked 113 albeit at the loss of eight wickets from 100 balls. Marizanne Kapp top-scored with 47 from 32 balls, but her dismissal at the brink of the finishing line curtailed Invincible's charge in the clutch overs. Deepti Sharma, meanwhile, backed up her batting recital with three wickets to cap a remarkable all-round performance for London Spirit.

Between Northern Superchargers and Manchester Originals at Leeds, the former charted 138/4 from 100 balls. Phoebe Litchfield and Annabel Sutherland packed identical 40s each in the middle overs after losing opener Davina Perrin early to Lauren Filer (2/16).

In response, Manchester Originals folded up for just 92 to fall 46 runs short of their target. Lauren Filer, at number 11, herself accounted for 20* of those runs from 11 balls after her team crashed to 69/9 at one stage. For the Superchargers, Kate Cross hogged the limelight with the ball with figures of 4/20. Linsey Smith (2/28), Grace Ballinger (1/8), and Annabel Sutherland (1/13) also picked up key wickets throughout the innings.
