Trent Rockets toppled Northern Superchargers by 47 runs in Match 4 of The Hundred Men’s 2024 competition on Friday, July 26 at Leeds.
Batting first, Trent Rockets conjured 185/5 upfront. Explosive opening batter Tom Banton made 66 runs from 38 deliveries with nine boundaries and a six to emerge as the top-scorer for his team after the early departure of Adam Lyth. Saim Hain at number four also cracked 49 runs from 28 balls to boost up the Rockets’ death-overs charge. Ben Dwarshuis and Matthew Potts were the only wicket-takers from the Northern Superchargers camp with four scalps between them.
In response, Northern Superchargers had their run-chase subjugated for 138/8 from their share of 100 balls. Batting at number eight, Ben Dwarshuis smacked a few in the slog overs to top-score for his team. However, his unbeaten 40 merely managed to minimize the Superchargers’ margin of defeat. Among Trent Rockets bowlers, Chris Green stood out for his astonishing three-wicket spell. Lewis Gregory also took centerstage for a while by striking twice from his end.
The Hundred Men's 2024 Most Runs List
Tom Banton (66 runs) and Sam Hain (49 runs) hold the number one and number three slots respectively in terms of leading run-scorers of the competition following their match-winning knocks against the Northern Superchargers. James Vince is ranked second on the top 10 list for scoring 56 against London Spirit.
Liam Dawson and Daniel Hughes, with 45 runs each, find themselves positioned at number four and five. Ben Dwarshuis is ranked sixth with 40 runs, while Dan Lawrence (38 runs) and Joe Clarke (33 runs) take the subsequent two slots on the batting charts. Sam Billings and Scott Currie take the final two positions on the top 10 list with 31 and 26 runs respectively.

Adam Zampa takes the top spot of The Hundred Men’s 2024 season bowlers list with three wickets. Chris Green, David Willey and Craig Overton take the subsequent three positions with as many as wickets as Zampa’s tournament collection.
Mohammad Amir, Will Jacks, Tim Southee, Lewis Gregory, Josh Little and Saqib Mahmood have all claimed two wickets apiece so far to round up the remainder of the top 10 listings.
