The Hundred Men’s 2024: Most Runs and Most Wickets after London Spirit vs Southern Brave (Updated) ft. James Vince and Craig Overton 

Southern Brave started their campaign in the Men’s Hundred 2024 by beating London Spirit by seven wickets on Wednesday, July 24, at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. After opting to bat first, the Spirit could only score 138 for the loss of nine wickets. Dan Lawrence played well at the top, notching up 38 runs off 30 balls.

Liam Dawson played a quick-fire knock of 45 off 19 balls lower down the order, helping the Spirit post a respectable score. The Brave went past the finish line with 11 balls left in their innings with seven wickets in hand. James Vince and Daniel Hughes’ 95-run opening stand laid the platform for the Brave in their run-chase.

The Hundred Men's 2024 Most Runs List

James Vince is currently the top run-scorer in the ongoing tournament after he scored 56 runs against the Spirit. His knock came off 35 balls and was laced with six fours and two sixes. Vince is currently the only batter to have hit a fifty in the ongoing tournament.

Liam Dawson is second in the list after his fluent knock against the Brave. The likes of Daniel Hughes, Dan Lawrence and Sam Billings have also played handy knocks and are in the top five.

The Hundred Men's 2024 Most Wickets List

Adam Zampa remained the top wicket-taker in the tournament. The Australian leg-spinner has picked up three wickets at an economy rate of 3.30 and played a crucial role in helping the Oval Invincibles beat the Birmingham Phoenix. Craig Overton is second in the list with three wickets to his name at an economy rate of 4.80.

Mohammad Amir was stupendous in the match against the Phoenix, using all his experience to pick up two wickets at an economy rate of 2.80. Will Jacks chipped in with a handy performance against the Phoenix as he picked up two wickets. Tim Southee, Saqib Mahmood, and Chris Jordan have also been amongst the wickets.
