The Ford Trophy 2024/25 will kickstart on Sunday, October 20, and will go on till March 2, with the final to be played in Dunedin. A total of 11 venues have been selected for the tournament.
The Ford Trophy 2024/25 will have six teams who will compete for the title. These six teams are - Auckland Aces, Canterbury, Northern Districts, Wellington Firebirds, Otago Volts, and Central Districts. Auckland Aces will be led by Robert O’Donnell while Cole McConchie will captain Canterbury.
Jeet Raval is the skipper of the Northern Districts while Tom Blundell is the captain of the Wellington Firebirds. Dean Foxcroft is at the helm of the Otago Volts and Greg Hay will handle the duties for the Central Districts.
The Ford Trophy 2024/25 will see a total of 32 matches being played and the tournament will be contested in a round-robin format. Each team will play 10 matches apiece in the group stage.
