Team India beat Bangladesh comfortably by 133 runs in the third T20I on Saturday, October 12, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Courtesy of the dominant win, India completed a clean sweep in the three-match T20I series. It came after their two-match Test series whitewash earlier this month against Bangladesh.

The hosts batted first in the third T20I after winning the toss and notched up a gigantic total of 297/6 in 20 overs. Sanju Samson (111) and Suryakumar Yadav (75) played magnificent knocks in the top order. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya (47) and Riyan Parag (34) provided the finishing touches with blazing cameos. Tanzim Hasan Sakib scalped three wickets for Bangladesh in the bowling department but conceded 66 runs in his four-over spell.

In reply, Bangladesh could only reach 164/7 in 20 overs and lost the match by a massive margin. Only Towhid Hridoy (63*) and Litton Das (42) put on a fight, while the rest of them departed for low scores. In his comeback match, Ravi Bishnoi scalped three wickets and was the pick of the home team bowlers.

Fans enjoyed the high-scoring third T20I between the two teams on Saturday night. They expressed their reactions to the match by sharing hilarious memes on X and Instagram.

"We have enjoyed each other's success"- Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav after 3-0 T20I series win vs Bangladesh

At the post-match presentation, Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav reflected on the clinical series win, saying:

"I think we have achieved a lot as a team. Most importantly, I said at the start of the series, 'I want to have selfless players in my team'. We have enjoyed each other's success."

He continued:

"No one is bigger than the team. No matter if you're on 99* or 49*, if you have to hit it out of the park, you do it. That is exactly what Sanju did. The batters have to be flexible, it is not easy. But they did well in this series. Just want to continue these good habits."

India will be back in action on October 16, when the Test series against New Zealand will commence in Bengaluru.
