The Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2024 kicks off on Friday, July 5, in Tamil Nadu. It’s the eighth edition of the TNPL and will be played for two months across Tamil Nadu. A total of eight teams will be participating in the TNPL 2024.
The Lyca Kovai Kings are the defending champions. They beat the Nellai Royal Kings comprehensively in the final last year to lift the title under the leadership of Shahrukh Khan. They will be eager to defend their title.
A total of 28 matches will be held in the league stage in the TNPL 2024. The league stage will be followed by the playoffs and the final will be played on Sunday, August 4. MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai will be hosting the grand finale.
The matches of the eighth edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League will be played across five cities, namely, Salem, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Dindigul, and Chennai. The last two games will be held in Chennai on August 2 and August 4.

The Tamil Nadu Premier League 2024 tickets start from INR 200. The tickets for the opening game between the Lyca Kovai Kings and the Chepauk Super Gillies are available.
The price for the tickets in Phase 1 – Spectators Gallery – 1 and Phase 2 – Spectators Gallery – 2 is INR 200. The Phase 1 – Hospitality tickets are available at INR 1500. Fans will have to quickly book the tickets as those are getting sold out at a rapid price.
The tickets for the Salem leg and the Coimbatore leg are out. A total of nine matches will be played in the Salem leg from July 5 to 11. The Coimbatore leg follows the Salem leg, which will be held from July 13 to 18.
