On Friday, August 16, 2024, the Boost Defenders faced Amo Sharks in the seventh match of the Shpageeza Cricket League 2024 while Band-e-Amir Dragons and Mis Ainak Knights squared off in the next.
Boost Defenders posted 145 runs for five wickets with important knocks from Darwish Rasooli (36), Ijaz Ahmadzai (37), and Gulbadin Naib (30). In reply, Abdul Malik smashed a 62-run match-winning knock for the Amo Sharks which helped his side to achieve the target in 17 overs.
Band-e-Amir Dragons suffered their second loss against Mis Ainak Knights. Naveed Obaid’s half-century helped the Knights set a mere 129-run target while Nangeyalia Kharote secured three wickets for the Dragons. However, the Dragons underperformed with the bat as Sediqullah Atal (49) and Hashmatullah Shahidi (35) were the only major run-getters while the rest were dismissed in single digits at 113/9.

Sediqullah Atal (191) of Band-e-Amir Dragons is still at the top of the most runs charts after scoring 49 runs in the previous game against Mis Ainak Knights.
Abdul Malik smashed a 62-run knock in the last game and secured the second spot with 109 runs. Meanwhile, Zubaid Akbari and Hashmatullah Shahidi occupy the next two spots with 107 runs each.
Mis Ainak Knights’ Ibrahim Zadran and Wafiullah Tarakhil dropped to fifth and sixth with 103 and 102 runs, respectively.
Gulbadin Naib (100) moved from ninth to seventh after scoring 30 runs in the previous encounter. Riaz Hassan dropped from fifth to eighth with 80 runs while Mohammad Akram and Ikram Alikhil round off the top 10, scoring 78 and 75 runs, respectively.
Shpageeza Cricket League 2024 Most Wickets List
With seven wickets each, AM Ghazanfar, Nangeyalia Kharote, and Amir Hamza secured the top three spots on Friday.
Noor Ahmad moved from third to fourth with six wickets. On the other hand, Yama Arab (6) bagged a four-wicket haul and claimed the fourth spot in the most wickets leaderboard while Aftab Alam (6) took one and moved to sixth.
Wahidullah Zadran and Zia-ur-Rehman of Mis Ainak Knights are ranked seventh and eighth, respectively, with five wickets while Sharafuddin Ashraf and Fareed Ahmad are placed in the next two with four wickets apiece.
