Shpageeza Cricket League 2024: Most Runs and Most Wickets after Amo Sharks vs Band-E-Amir Dragons (Updated) ft. Sediqullah Atal and Noor Ahmad

The Boost Defenders beat the Speen Ghar Tigers by seven wickets in Match No.3 of the Shpageeza Cricket League 2024 on Wednesday, August 13. Noor Ahmad won the Player of the Match award after he finished with stupendous figures of 4-0-16-4. Chasing a target of 167, the Defenders chased down the target with four balls to spare.

In the second of the match of the day, the Band-e-Amir beat the Amo Sharks by five wickets at the Kabul International Cricket Stadium. Skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi led from the front after he made 57 runs off 48 balls, helping the Dragons track down 148 with four balls left in their innings.

Sediqullah Atal is currently the top run-scorer of the tournament. The youngster has notched 109 runs from two games at an average of 54.50 and a strike rate of 143.42 with a top score of 69 to his name. Zubaid Akbari is second in the list with 91 runs from two games at an average of 45.50 and a strike-rate of 110.97.

Ibrahim Zadran played an outstanding knock of 80 in his previous game and is third in the list of top run-getters. Mohammad Akram and Shahidi have also scored half-centuries. Ikram Ali Khil and Abdul Malik have also been amongst the runs.

Noor Ahmad jumped straight to the top of the wicket-taker’s list after his impressive showing on Wednesday. He has taken four wickets at an economy rate of four. Allah Ghazanfar is second in the list with four wickets from two games at an economy rate of 3.25.

Veteran left-arm spinner Amir Hamza also has four wickets to his name with a three-wicket haul to show for his efforts. Nangeyalia Kharote, Zahir Khan, Zia-ur-Rahman and Wahidullah Zadran have also been amongst the wickets in the ongoing tournament.
