Durham, Worcestershire, Lancashire and Somerset secured wins in the Group A matches on Sunday, August 11 in the Royal London Cup. Somerset defeated Middlesex by eight wickets at the Lord’s and stayed on top of the table with 12 points and a net run rate of +1.217.

Worcestershire held on to their second position following their eight-wicket win over Hampshire at New Road in Worcester. Durham beat Kent by seven wickets at the St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury. They are third in the table with nine points, thanks to wins in four of seven matches.

Lancashire got the better of Northamptonshire, winning by four runs at the County Ground in Northampton. After six losses, Lancashire opened their account. But despite the win, Lancashire are languishing at the bottom of the table with two points and a net run rate of -0.977.

Leicestershire continued their impressive run in the London One Day Cup 2024 after beating Glamorgan by nine runs at the Grace Road in Leicester. They are third in the table with 10 points and a net run rate of -0.538, thanks to wins in five of seven matches.

Yorkshire beat Warwickshire by six wickets at the Rugby School Ground in Rugby, Warwickshire. They moved to fifth in the table with eight points and a net run rate of -0.058, courtesy of four wins in seven matches in the championship.

Sussex beat Surrey by six wickets at the County Ground in Hove to end their six-match losing streak. They are at the bottom of the table with two points and a net run rate of -0.72.

Meanwhile, Essex beat Nottinghamshire by seven wickets at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. They are struggling in seventh place in the points table with four points and a net run rate of -0.186.
