Derbyshire occupy the third position on the points table with two wins and four points after two games. They also boast a healthy net run rate of +0.477. Warwickshire continue to dominate Group B of the 2024 Royal One Day Cup with a perfect record of three wins in three matches. They have scored six points at a net run rate of +1.541 and are placed atop the points table. Nathan Fernandes and Mark Stoneman help Middlesex chase 318 against Northamptonshire

Batting first, Northamptonshire posted a massive first-inning total of 317/9, thanks to contributions from Prithvi Shaw (76 off 58), Saif Zaib (58 off 77), and Gus Miller (73 off 68).

Middlesex bowler Luke Hollman (3/49) led the charge for his team while he found able support from teammates Noah Cornwell (2/54) and Henry Brookes (2/73).

Nathan Fernandes (83 off 103) and skipper Mark Stoneman (83 off 78) top-scored for Middlesex as they chased the required target with five wickets and 11 deliveries to spare. Fernandes and Stoneman hit 18 boundaries and two sixes between them.
