A total of eight Royal London One Day Cup 2024 games were played on Sunday, August 4.

Derbyshire defeated Somerset by one wicket in the first game of the day. In the following game, Leicestershire registered a 10-run victory over Sussex. Nottinghamshire secured their third win against Surrey by 107 runs.

Warwickshire registered their fifth consecutive win over Gloucestershire by six wickets. Similarly, Glamorgan also claimed their fifth victory in a row Essex by 32 runs.

Middlesex grabbed their second win over Kent by five wickets in the fifth game while Hampshire beat Lancashire by 71 runs in the next game.

Worcestershire suffered a massive 130-run victory over Northamptonshire in the last game of the day.

Ed Barnard, who smashed an excellent 152-run unbeaten knock, jumped from eighth spot to first with 347 runs, averaging 115.66.

Sol Budinger (297) climbed from fifth to second position after scoring 84 runs in the previous game. Similarly, Ben Slater hammered a 164-run knock and secured the third spot in the most runs leaderboard with 296 runs.

Prithvi Shaw dropped from third to fourth spot, having scored 294 runs in five matches at an average of 58.80.

Gareth Roderick, who was ranked first on Friday, August 2, slipped to the fifth position with 270 runs, averaging 90.00. He has three half-centuries in his account.

Dan Douthwaite of Glamorgan picked up three wickets against Essex and retained his top spot with 15 wickets. Similarly, with 13 wickets, Ed Barnard of Warwickshire also continues to hold the second position after taking three wickets in the last game.

Zak Chappell rocketed from ninth position to third, taking 12 wickets in five matches at an impressive economy of 4.90.

Glamorgan’s Andy Gorwin dropped from third to fourth while his teammate Jamie McIlroy ascended to fifth position with 11 and 10 wickets each.
