Afghanistan keeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz compared India's T20 World Cup victory parade to that of Lionel Messi's Argentina. The victorious Indian team landed on the shores of Mumbai last evening and received a warm welcome, with fans swarming the open bus with the loudest cheers for their beloved team.

After the bus parade, the team then headed to the Wankhede Stadium, where a felicitation ceremony was held and the team conducted a lap of honor for all those present at the venue.

The fans turned out in large numbers, both for the victory parade and the ceremony in the stadium. Despite the inclement weather, the fans stayed put and journeyed along with the team, singing songs and cheering for their heroes.

The support of the fans in Mumbai was so overwhelming that Afghanistan trailblazer Rahmanullah Gurbaz took to social media and shared a few pictures of what the entire ceremony looked like. The Afghan keeper-batter shared the images on X with the following caption:

"India 🫶🫡"

Gurbaz also shared an image, comparing Lionel Messi and India captain Rohit Sharma. His caption for the image read:

"Messi's Argentina ❌ Rohit Sharma's Mumbai ✅"
