Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) pacer Naveen-ul-Haq has pulled his teammate Nicholas Pooran’s leg for posting five pictures with similar poses with the same backdrop on Wednesday, July 24. The West Indies batter posted pictures of himself in what looked like a stadium's stand. The wicketkeeper-batter looked dapper wearing a black outfit.

Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Pooran captioned the post:

“Prioritize your peace”

Reacting to the post, Naveen commented:

“Bro, can you tell me what’s the difference between all the pics you could’ve posted one.”

Notably, the two players share a great camaraderie on and off the field. It remains to be seen whether the duo gets retained by the Super Giants franchise ahead of the next season.

Naveen bagged 14 wickets in 10 matches at an economy rate of 10.19 for the Lucknow-based franchise in the last edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Overall, he has 25 scalps in 18 IPL games.

On the other hand, Pooran amassed 499 runs in 14 games at a strike rate of 178.21 with the help of three half-centuries. Overall, the southpaw has 1769 runs in 76 IPL matches.

Pooran is currently playing for MI New York in Major League Cricket (MLC) 2024. Meanwhile, Naveen is representing the Texas Super Kings in the same tournament. The batter will be next seen in action against Super Kings in Eliminator at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on July 24.


Nicholas Pooran gets retained by defending champions MI Emirates for ILT20

MI Emirates captain Nicholas Pooran has been retained by MI Emirates ahead of the upcoming third season of the International League T20 (ILT20). The retention comes as Pooran led Emirates to the ILT20 trophy last season as his team beat Dubai Capitals by 45 runs in the final.

Notably, Pooran was among the leading runscorers in the tournament, scoring 354 runs in 10 innings, comprising two half-centuries.
