Fans expressed their reactions to the Suryakumar Yadav-led Indian side securing an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh. The game took place on Wednesday (October 9) at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Batting first, India were off to a bad start, with Sanju Samson (10), Abhishek Sharma (15), and Suryakumar (8) losing their wickets in the powerplay. However, Nitish Reddy (74 off 34) and Rinku Singh (53 off 29) played counter-attacking knocks to dominate the Bangladesh bowlers.

In response, Bangladesh never looked in the game, as they lost wickets on a consistent basis. In the end, the Tigers were restricted to 135/9 with Mahmudullah (41) being the top run-scorer. Nitish Reddy and Varun Chakaravarthy took two wickets each for the Indian team.

With this series victory, Suryakumar Yadav continued his terrific run as Indian T20I captain. Suryakumar's first series as a leader last year saw India secure a 4-1 victory over Australia.

Then, India drew the series 1-1 against South Africa, followed by a 3-0 whitewash against Sri Lanka. Overall, Suryakumar Yadav's record stands at 10-2 in 12 games.

Currently, Suryakumar is also ranked No. 2 in the T20I batting charts, owing to his 40+ average in the shortest format.
