MI New York's bowlers dominate as Nicholas Pooran leads chase against Seattle Orcas

MI New York elected to bowl after winning the toss against Seattle Orcas. Only three batters managed to make a double-digit score for Seattle. Shubham Ranjane was the highest scorer for the team and made 35 runs off 31 deliveries. Seattle were bundled out for 108 runs in 19.1 overs, with Trent Boult and Rashid Khan taking three wickets each for New York.

Thereafter, Nicholas Pooran remained unbeaten on 62 runs off 37 deliveries. He helped MI reach the target of 109 runs in less than 15 overs with six wickets in hand. Cameron Gannon picked up two wickets for 40 runs in three overs. Pooran won the Player of the Match award.

In the second game, Texas Super Kings won the toss against LA Knight Riders and elected to bowl. The Knight Riders lost their first two wickets for just five runs. However, Unmukt Chand scored 68 runs off 45 deliveries to propel them to 162 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Zia-ul-Haq, Aaron Hardie, and Marcus Stoinis took two wickets each for the Super Kings.

In response, Devon Conway scored 53 runs off 39 deliveries, while no other batter managed to cross the 30-run mark. As a result, the Super Kings could make 150 runs for the loss of eight wickets and lose the match by 12 runs. Ali Khan took four wickets for 33 runs in four overs and won the Player of the Match award.
