Texas Super Kings triumph over San Francisco Unicorns with dominant bowling performance

The Super Kings won the toss and elected to bowl against the Unicorns. The Unicorns lost their first two wickets for just 29 runs. Matthew Short’s quickfire 33-run off 15 deliveries didn’t let the momentum run away.

However, no other batter took charge of the innings after Short’s dismissal. The Unicorns were bundled out for 127 runs in 17.5 overs. Short made 33 runs off just 15 deliveries and was the only batter to cross the 20-run mark. Mohammad Mohsin was the pick of the bowlers for the Super Kings, taking four wickets for 13 runs in 3.5 overs. It was his second four-wicket haul in Major League Cricket.

Devon Conway and Faf du Plessis added 61 runs for the first wicket for the Super Kings. Both the batters scored 30-plus runs. Aaron Hardie, who came to bat at No. 3, made 34 runs off 23 deliveries. These three helped the Super Kings win the match by seven wickets.
