Ryan Rickelton's unbeaten century guides Seattle Orcas to victory in MLC 2024

Seattle Orcas won the toss and elected to bowl. Knight Riders lost their first wicket for 25 runs in the fourth over. Unmukt Chand and Jason Roy added 42 runs for the second wicket. Roy made 69 runs off 52 deliveries and was the highest scorer. David Miller remained unbeaten on 44 runs off 22 deliveries. They helped Knight Riders post a total of 168 runs for the loss of five wickets. Zaman Khan and Harmeet Singh took two wickets each for Seattle.

Seattle lost the wicket of Nauman Anwar for just 17 runs on the board. Ryan Rickelton and Quinton de Kock had an unbeaten partnership of 152 runs for the second wicket. They helped Seattle reach the target of 169 runs on the penultimate delivery of the innings. Rickelton remained unbeaten on 103 runs off 66 deliveries, while de Kock scored 51 runs off 46 deliveries. Spencer Johnson took the only wicket for the Knight Riders.
