MLC 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after Washington Freedom vs San Francisco Unicorns (Updated) ft. Travis Head and Rachin Ravindra

Washington Freedom took on San Francisco Unicorns in the qualifier match of Major League Cricket (MLC) 2024 on Thursday, July 25, at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas. The Freedom won the toss and elected to bowl.

The Unicorns were bundled out for 145 runs in 19 overs. Hassan Khan was the highest scorer in the innings with 57 off 36 deliveries. Rachin Ravindra was the pick of the bowlers for the Freedom with exquisite figures of 4/11 from 2.4 overs.

In reply, the Freedom lost their first wicket for just two runs but Travis Head took the reins from there on. He played a brilliant knock of 77 off 44 deliveries and remained unbeaten. Glenn Maxwell also had a fine outing with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 54 off 23 deliveries.

The Freedom won the match by seven wickets and qualified for the final. The Unicorns still have one more chance to get to the final; they will take on Texas Super Kings in the challenger match on Saturday, July 27.

Faf du Plessis is still the leading run-scorer in MLC 2024 with 375 runs in seven matches at an average of 53.57.

Travis Head remains in second position with 327 runs in eight games at a brilliant strike rate of 173.93.

Steven Smith is still in third place despite a rare failure in the last match. He has amassed 248 runs in eight innings at an average of 49.60.

Devon Conway is still in fourth place with 231 runs in seven games at an average of 46.20.

Ryan Rickelton remains in the fifth spot with 225 runs in six matches at a strike rate of 148.02.

Saurabh Netravalkar is still the leading wicket-taker in MLC 2024 having taken 14 wickets at an average of 12.07.

Cameron Gannon is still in second place with 11 wickets to his name at a strike rate of 12.54.

Rashid Khan remains in third position with 10 wickets in seven matches at an economy of 6.15.

Lockie Ferguson has moved to fourth place from fifth with 10 wickets in seven matches at a strike rate of 15.20.

Rachin Ravindra has jumped to the fifth position following his terrific spell in the last match. he has taken nine wickets at an incredible average of 5.55.
