MLC 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after Washington Freedom vs San Francisco Unicorns (Updated) ft. Steven Smith and Rachin Ravindra

Washington Freedom took on San Francisco Unicorns in the final of the Major League Cricket 2024 on Monday, July 28, at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas. The Unicorns won the toss and elected to bowl.

Steven Smith and Glenn Maxwell had a great outing with the bat once again. Smith made 88 runs off 52 deliveries, while Maxwell scored 40 runs off 22 deliveries. It helped the Freedom post a total of 207 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. Pat Cummins was the pick of the bowlers for the Unicorns and took two wickets for 35 runs in four overs.

In response, no batter managed to score more than 20 runs for the Unicorns. They were bundled out for just 111 runs in 16 overs and lost the match by 96 runs. Marco Jansen and Rachin Ravindra took three wickets each for the Freedom.

Faf du Plessis remained in first place and scored 420 runs in eight matches at an average of 52.50.

Steven Smith moved to second position from fifth and amassed 336 runs in nine innings at an average of 56.

Travis Head slipped to third place from second and made 336 runs in nine games at a strike rate of 173.19.

Finn Allen remained in fourth position and finished with 306 runs to his name in nine matches at a strike rate of 187.73.

Devon Conway moved to fifth place from third and made 293 runs in eight games at an average of 58.60.

Rachin Ravindra jumped to the second position from fifth and took 12 wickets at an average of 6.08 in six innings.

Cameron Gannon slipped to third place from second and finished with 11 wickets to his name in seven matches at a strike rate of 12.54.

Marco Jansen jumped to fourth place and amassed 11 wickets in eight matches at a strike rate of 16.90.

Hassan Khan moved to fifth position from sixth and picked 10 wickets at an economy of 7.09 in seven innings.
