MLC 2024: Most Runs and Most Wickets after San Francisco Unicorns vs Texas Super Kings (Updated) ft. Faf du Plessis & Mohammad Mohsin

The San Francisco Unicorns and Texas Super Kings locked horns in the Major League Cricket (MLC) 2024 at Church Street Park in Morrisville on Wednesday, July 10.

Texas Super Kings opted to field first and bowled out San Francisco Unicorns for 127 in 17.5 overs. Matthew Short top-scored for the Unicorns while Hassan Khan (19), Sanjay Krishnamurthi (17), and Haris Rauf (13) also made handy contributions with the bat.

Mohammad Mohsin was the wrecker-in-chief with the ball for Texas, bagging a four-wicket haul while Zia-ul-Haq and Dwayne Bravo chipped in two wickets each. Naveen-ul-Haq and Mitchell Santner also picked up a wicket.

In reply, Devon Conway’s 32, Faf du Plessis’ 34, and Aaron Hardie’s 34 aided the Texas Super Kings to a comfortable seven-wicket win. Hassan Khan took two wickets for the Unicorns while Liam Plunkett picked up one.

Faf du Plessis scored a 34-run knock in the last game and strengthened his position at the top with 148 runs at an average of 49.33.

Devon Conway jumped to the second spot with 124 runs in three games at an excellent average of 62.

Nicholas Pooran slipped from second to third position with 106 runs while Ryan Rickelton of Seattle Orcas retained his fourth position with 103 runs.

Jason Roy is fifth with 97 runs in three matches.

Matthew Short scored a 33-run knock in the previous game and is sixth with 91 runs.

Spencer Johnson of LAKR is still at the top with six wickets.

Saurabh Netravalkar retained his second position with five wickets while Mohammad Mohsin picked up a four-fer on Wednesday to move to the third spot with four wickets at an average of 8.75.

Justin Dill, ZIa-ul-Haq, and Ali Khan hold the following three spots, respectively, with four wickets each.

Trent Boult and Rashid Khan of MI New York occupy the following two positions, respectively, with three wickets each. Zaman Khan and Cameron Gannon round out the top 10 with three wickets each.
