The match between Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club and Sinhalese Sports Club on Wednesday (June 19) was abandoned due to rain. Meanwhile, Ragama Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bowl against Panadura Sports Club.
Panadura Sports Club posted a total of 182 runs for the loss of six wickets The second innings was reduced to 25 overs and Ragama Cricket Club won the match by three wickets.
Elsewhere, Ace Capital chased down the target of 135 runs against Chilaw Marians Cricket Club in 27.5 overs. Wanuja Sahan was the pick of the bowlers in the match and took four wickets for 31 runs in 10 overs.
The match between Negombo and Bloomfield on Wednesday was reduced to 20 overs. Negombo were bundled out for just 55 runs. Bloomfield took 11.5 overs to win the match by five wickets.
