Eagle Nashik Titans won the toss against Ratnagiri Jets in the final of the Maharashtra Premier League 2024 and elected to bowl. The Jets lost their first four wickets for 56 runs.
Then, Kiran Chormale and Abhishek Pawar added 44 runs for the fifth wicket and helped the team reach the 100-run mark. Nikhil Naik finished the innings well for the Jets, with his knock of 36* off 25 deliveries.
The Jets posted a total of 160 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. Mukesh Choudhary was the pick of the bowlers for the Titans and picked three wickets for 30 runs in four overs.
The Titans had a slow start and lost four wickets before reaching the 50-run mark. They didn’t have a partnership that lasted for more than 30 runs. In the end, the Titans finished with 136 runs for the loss of nine wickets and lost the match by 24 runs.
Ratnagiri Jets became the two-time champions of the Maharashtra Premier League. Satyajeet Bachhav was the most successful bowler for the Jets and took four wickets for 31 runs in four overs.
