Puneri Bappa won the toss against Kolhapur Tuskers and elected to bat in the 19th match of the Maharashtra Premier League. Damle Rohan and Suraj Shine made 30-plus scores for the Bappa.
Rohan was the highest scorer with 38 off 41. The Bappa made 135-8 in their allotted 20 overs. Shreyash Chavan was the pick of the bowlers for the Tuskers with 5-18 in four overs.
Ankit Bawne remained unbeaten on 70 off 54 and helped the Tuskers reach their target in 14.4 overs. Shreyash won the Player of the Match award for his impressive bowling performance.
In the second Maharashtra Premier League game of the day, Raigad Royals elected to bowl after winning the toss against Ratnagiri Jets. Divyang Hinganekar scored 43 off 35 and was the highest scorer for the Jets. He helped the team to 138-9 in 20 overs. Manoj Ingale and Tanay Sanghavi took three wickets each for the Royals.
Vicky Ostwal scored 50 off 35 for the Royals, but it was not enough, as the Royals were bundled out for 126. Satyajeet Bachhav continued his dream run this season with 5-17 in four overs.
