Maharashtra Premier League 2024: Top run-getters and wicket-takers after Eagle Nashik Titans vs Kolhapur Tuskers (Updated) ft. Ankit Bawne & Shreyas C

Eagle Nashik Titans secured a six-wicket win over Kolhapur Tuskers in the Qualifier 2 match of the Maharashtra Premier League 2024 in Pune.

The Tuskers batted first and posted a 203-run target for five wickets. Ankit Bawne led the batting department with an unbeaten 77(47) backed by Sachin Dhas’ 45 and Siddharth Mhatre’s 38. Mukesh Choudhary and Titans skipper Prashant Solanki picked up two wickets each while Arshin Kulkarni took one.

In reply, Mandar Bhandari and Arshin Kulkarni stitched a 36-run opening partnership. Later, Sahil Parikh 68 (33) and Kaushal Tambe 27 (20) forged a 96-run stand off 53 balls. Atharva Kale (53*) then scored a match-winning half-century off 20 deliveries, guiding his team to a comfortable win in 18 overs.

Ankit Bawne smacked a 47-ball 77-run knock in the previous game and jumped from fourth to first spot. He has hammered 415 runs, including four fifties, in 12 games at an impressive average of 51.88.

Rahul Tripathi retained his second position with 383 runs in 10 innings, averaging 42.56 and striking above 200.

Om Bhosale descended from the top to the third spot, scoring 380 runs in 11 matches. He also has four half-centuries in his account.

Siddhesh Veer also slipped from second to fourth with 349 runs in 10 matches. He averages 43.63 with three 50-plus scores.

Meanwhile, Onkar Khatpe regained his fifth position, scoring 324 runs at a decent average of 29.45.

Atharva Kale’s 53* off 20 against ENT, helped him jump from ninth to sixth position with 322 runs to his name.

Shreyas Chavan solidified his second spot with 20 wickets, after picking up two wickets in the last game against Eagle Nashik Titans.

Mukesh Choudhary moved from fourth to third rank with 18 wickets while Tanay Sanghavi dropped to fourth with 16 wickets.

Sachin Bhosale of Puneri Bappa retained the fifth position, having secured 13 wickets in 10 games.
