On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, the Gwalior Cheetahs and Rewa Jaguars squared off in the Eliminator 1 match of the Madhya Pradesh T20 League 2024.
Cheetahs won the toss and opted to bowl first. Gautam Raghuwanshi led Bhopal’s batting lineup with a 58-run knock. Aniket Verma (32), Ankush Singh (30), and Arshad Khan (21) backed him with important contributions in the middle and lower order, leading to a 171-run total.
Gwalior skipper Parth Sahani, Vishnu Bhardwaj, and Ankit Kushwah claimed two wickets each.
In reply, the Cheetahs lost their openers early but Shivang Kumar and Venkatesh Iyer (40 off 21 balls) formed a 59-run partnership in 33 balls, putting their team in a strong position. Subsequently, Kumar (46) and Parth Sahani (22) added 30 runs together but fell short by three runs as wickets continued to fall at regular intervals.
Priyanshu Shukla and Kamal Tripathi bagged three wickets apiece while Arshad Khan took two.

Aniket Verma secured the top spot with 244 runs to his name. He scored 32 runs in the last game against Gwalior Cheetahs. Akshat Raghuvanshi of Malwa Panthers holds the second position, mustering 182 runs in four games.
Harsh Gawli retained the third spot with 174 runs at an average of 34.80 while Himanshu Mantri moved to fourth, scoring 158 runs in four matches. Shubham Sharma of the Panthers claimed the fifth position, having scored 150 runs across four matches at an excellent strike rate of 182.93.
Madhya Pradesh T20 League 2024 Most Wickets List
Shivam Shukla leads the MP T20 League 2024 most wickets leaderboard with 10 wickets in four games. He picked up a five-wicket haul in his last game against Jabalpur Lions.
Kamal Tripathi of Bhopal Leopards secured a three-wicket haul on Saturday and bagged the second position with nine wickets. Ankit Kushwah also picked up two wickets in the same match and claimed the third spot with eight wickets.
Meanwhile, Puneet Datey dropped to fourth position with seven wickets and Parth Sahani jumped to the fifth after taking two wickets in the last game.
