Bhopal Leopards secure first thrilling victory in style

Rewa Jaguars won the toss and opted to bat first. Their innings saw contributions from Prithviraj Tomar (18), Himanshu Shinde (17), and Harsh Dixit (19).

However, it was skipper Himanshu Mantri who stole the show with a solid half-century, anchoring the Jaguars' innings. Despite his efforts, the Jaguars were restricted to a modest total, thanks to a stellar bowling performance from the Leopards.

Mihir Hirwani led the bowling attack with an impressive three-wicket haul, demonstrating exceptional control and variety. Arshad Khan, Gautam Raghuwanshi, and Priyanshu Shukla provided crucial support, each claiming two wickets and ensuring the Jaguars couldn't build any significant partnerships.

In reply, the Leopards' chase began on a shaky note with the early loss of Ankush Singh (17) in the third over. However, Siddarth Patidar (21) and Harsh Gawli steadied the innings, forging a crucial 44-run partnership.

Gawli’s composed 43, along with Aniket Verma’s unbeaten 34, laid the foundation for a successful chase. Madhav Tiwary's quickfire 17 off just eight balls added the finishing touches, enabling the Leopards to achieve the target in 18.5 overs.

The Jaguars' bowling attack, led by Kulwant Khejroliya, Kumar Kartikeya, and Shivam Shukla, managed to claim a wicket each but failed to contain the Leopards' determined batting lineup.
