The 16th match between the Dambulla Sixers and Galle Marvels finished in a tie. The Marvels won the Super Bowl. The Colombo Strikers defeated the Jaffna Kings in the 17th game by nine wickets after chasing down the target of 110 runs in just 9.5 overs.

Thrilling Super Over victory for Galle Marvels against Dambulla Sixers

Dambulla Sixers won the toss against Galle Marvels and elected to bowl. Alex Hales scored 38 runs off 26 deliveries. He was the only batter who managed to cross the 30-run mark and helped the team post 148 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Nuwan Pradeep, Dushan Hemantha and Mohammad Nabi took two wickets each.

Reeza Hendricks provided a solid start for the Sixers, scoring 72 runs off 57 deliveries. The Sixers finished with exactly 148 runs and the match ended in a tie. Maheesh Theekshana was the most successful bowler for the team and took three wickets for 29 runs in four overs.

The Sixers scored six runs in the Super Over. Hales hit a six on the fourth delivery of the Super Over and helped the Marvels win the match. Theekshana won the Player of the Match award.

Colombo Strikers elected to bowl against Jaffna Kings in the 17th match. The Kings lost their first six wickets for just 49 runs. Vijay Viyaskanth scored 25 runs off 34 deliveries. The Kings finished with 109 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Shadab Khan took four wickets for 10 runs in four overs.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz remained unbeaten on 57 runs off 33 deliveries. The Strikers reached the target of 110 runs in 9.5 overs and won the match by nine wickets. Shadab won the Player of the Match award.
