LPL 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after Dambulla Sixers vs Colombo Strikers (Updated) ft. Binura Fernando and Nuwan Pradeep

Dambulla Sixers ended their Lanka Premier League 2024 edition with a win over Colombo Strikers on Tuesday. Mohammad Nabi and Co. didn’t bat well in the first innings and were bowled out for just 123 runs on the board.

They had lost five wickets for just 38 runs but crucial contributions from Nabi (40 off 33) and Chamindu Wickramasinghe (26 off 29) guided the team to a reasonable score on the board.

For the Strikers, Binura Fernando claimed three wickets for 15 runs in four overs. Besides, Matheesha Pathirana and Dunith Wellalage claimed two wickets each.

In pursuit of the target, both the openers got out without opening their accounts. The wickets kept falling at quick intervals and soon the Strikers found themselves at 52 for 7 inside 10 overs.

Thisara Perera gave the team some hope in the latter part of the innings but only to delay the inevitable. He contributed 30 off 31 balls before becoming the final victim, as the Strikers, eventually, were bundled out for 95, losing the match by 28 runs.

Avishka Fernando stays at the top of the run charts with 311 runs to his name. Pathum Nissanka is second with 311 runs. At number three is Kusal Perera with 296 runs, followed by Tim Seifert with 291 runs.

Alex Hales holds the fifth spot with 284 runs, while Dinesh Chandimal finds himself at sixth with 270 runs. Andre Fletcher occupies the seventh position on the list with 263 runs.

Glenn Phillips finds himself at the eighth spot with 252 runs. At number nine is Rilee Rossouw with 236 runs, followed by Angelo Mathews at 10th with 233 runs.

The number fifth spot is occupied by Isuru Udana with 12 wickets, followed by Dushan Hemantha at sixth with 11 wickets. Binura Fernando finds himself at seventh with 10 wickets.

At number eight is Maheesh Theekshana with 10 wickets, followed by Zahoor Khan at nine with 10 wickets. Meanwhile, Dinuth Wellalage rounds off the top-10 spots with 9 wickets under his belt.
