Kabul Premier League 2024 Most Wickets List Updated

The Kabul Zalmi and Band-e-Amir Stars met in the final match of the Kabul Premier League 2024 on Friday, June 14.

Band-e Amir Stars batted first and were bowled out for a sub-par total of 169 runs. No.3 batter Haroon Khan smashed a fine fifty, while Iqdamul Haq and Irfan Safi contributed 25 and 24 runs each, respectively. Naveed Zadran and AM Ghazanfar picked up two wickets each, while Ziaur Rehman, Jumaidin Sultani, and Mohammad Oman returned with one apiece.

In response, the Kabul Zalmi successfully chased down the target in 18.5 overs. Mohammad Sabir led the chase with an excellent half-century, while Mohammad Akram scored 41 runs. Masood Gurbaz (31 off 22) also played a crucial role alongside skipper Qais Ahmad, who chipped in with 18 off 11.

Hassan Eisakhil finished at the top of the leaderboard for most runs with 388 runs at an excellent average of 55.42 and a strike rate of 226.90. He struck one century and two fifties.

Afsar Zazai finished second with 316 runs at an impressive average of 45.14, including four half centuries.

Yousuf Shah of Kabul Knight Riders retained his third place with 260 runs in six matches. Mohammad Sabir’s 46-ball fifty helped him finish fourth with 256 runs to his name. Haroon Khan of Band-e Amir Stars scored a fifty in the same game and finished fifth with 256 runs.

AM Ghazanfar, moved from third to finish first with 12 wickets, after taking a couple of wickets in the final. Nijat Masood also picked up a wicket and finished second with 12 wickets.

Faroon Dawoodzai went wicketless on Friday but finished in the top three with 11 wickets in his kitty. Ishaq Saqi and Arab Gul occupy the next two spots with 10 wickets apiece.

Irfan Safi, Said Khan, and Jalal Stanikzai have bagged nine wickets each and are ranked seventh, eighth, and ninth, with an average of 18.00, 18.00, and 19.22, respectively.
