Punjab Kings (PBKS) took on Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 37th match of the Indian Premier League 2024 on Sunday, April 21. Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur hosted the clash.

PBKS won the toss and elected to bat and made 142 runs with the bat in 20 overs. Only Prabhsimran Singh managed to score more than 30 runs for the team, making 35 runs off 21 deliveries. Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore was the pick of the bowlers and took four wickets.

GT reached the target of 147 runs in 19.1 overs with three wickets in hand. Rahul Tewatia was the highest scorer for the team and remained unbeaten on 36 runs off 18 deliveries. Harshal Patel was the most successful bowler for PBKS and picked three wickets for 15 runs in three overs.

Rohit Sharma has moved to fifth place from fourth and has made 297 runs in seven matches at a strike rate of 164.08. Sunil Narine has moved to sixth place from fifth and has scored 286 runs in seven games at an average of 40.85.

KL Rahul has slipped to seventh place from sixth and has made 286 runs in seven outings at an average of 40.85. Sanju Samson has moved to eighth place from seventh and has made 276 runs in seven innings at an average of 55.2.
