The ILT20 Development Tournament 2024 will see its second season begin on October 6 and run till October 16. Six teams will be taking part in the tournament.
These six teams are - ILT20 Marvels, Desert Vipers Development, Dubai Capitals Development, Gulf Giants Development, ILT20 Thunderbolts, and ILT20 Pearls. Each team will play five games during the league stage.
In the opening clash of the ILT20 Development Tournament 2024 on Sunday, October 6, IL20 Marvels and Desert Vipers Development will face each other. Dubai Capitals Development and Gulf Giants Development will play the second game of the opening day.
Two matches will be played on each day of the tournament (except for Sunday, October 13, and Wednesday, October 16).
After the completion of the league-stage games, two semi-finals will be played on October 15 at 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM IST. The final will then be played on October 16 at 7:00 PM IST.
All the matches of the ILT20 Development Tournament 2024 will be played in Dubai at a single venue, that is the ICC Academy Oval 1 ground. Basil Hameed, Danish Qureshi, Raja Akifullah, Aryan Lakra, Vriitya Aravind, Muhammad Waseem, Zahoor Khan, Alishan Sharafu, Kamran Atta, Matiullah, Abdul Ghaffar, and Ronak Palnoly are some well-known names taking part in the tournament.
After the end of the tournament, the six ILT20 franchises will pick additional players through another round of selection draft. Therefore, this tournament will provide the opportunity to rising players to display their skills and catch the eyes of the ILT20 franchises ahead of the third season of the ILT20.
