The much-awaited ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 will kick off next week in the United Arab Emirates. Dubai and Sharjah will host the mega event, where India, South Africa, Pakistan, West Indies, England, New Zealand, Australia, Bangladesh and Scotland will compete for the coveted championship.

ICC allotted the hosting rights of the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 matches to Bangladesh but due to off-field reasons, the board had to move the tournament to the UAE. Twenty-three matches will take place from October 3 to 20 and one team will take the trophy home.

The last Women's T20 World Cup took place in 2023 when Australia defeated home team South Africa in the final to win the trophy. A huge crowd turned up for the summit clash in the previous Women's T20 World Cup.

ICC has announced the sale of the tickets for Women's T20 WC 2024 matches on its official website - Tickets to ICC WOMEN'S T20 WORLD CUP 2024 (platinumlist.net). The price for one ticket starts from AED 5 (₹115 approximately) while a premium seat ticket starts from AED 40 (₹910 approximately).

There are multiple double-header contests on a day, where the same venue will host two matches from 2 pm Local Time to 10 pm Local Time. Fans can use the same ticket to attend both matches on the ground.


How to get Women's T20 World Cup 2024 match tickets for free?

To attract new fans to the stadium, ICC has announced that people aged below 18 years can attend the matches for free in Dubai and Sharjah.

"This World Cup promises to inspire a new generation of cricket fans and tickets have been extremely accessibly priced starting from 5 AED and free of charge for those under the age of 18," ICC Head of Events Chris Tetley said.

Considering the craze for cricket in UAE, thousands of fans should turn up for the Women's T20 World Cup matches. The big game between India and Pakistan will take place on October 6 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
