"Hi, want friendship?" - Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan engage in social media interaction

Team India's pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah's recent social media interaction with wife Sanjana Ganesan has caught the attention of many fans. Sanjana, a popular sports presenter, posted a picture on Instagram on Friday, October 11.

In the photograph, Sanjana can be seen posing at the Dubai International Stadium amid the ICC Women's T20 World Cup match between Pakistan and Australia.

Commenting on her better half's picture, Bumrah wrote:

"Hi 😍"

Sanjana responded to Bumrah's comment cheekily, writing:

"Hi, want friendship? 😏"

Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan married on March 15, 2021, in a private ceremony in Goa after dating for a couple of years. They were blessed with a baby boy on September 2023, whom they named Angad.

It is worth mentioning that Sanjana was a finalist in the 2014 Femina Miss India competition. She is the winner of the 2013 Femina Gorgeous and has also participated in a few reality television shows.


Jasprit Bumrah will be India's vice-captain for upcoming three-match Test series against New Zealand

Jasprit Bumrah was last seen in action during India's two-match home Test series against Bangladesh last month. With 11 wickets across four innings, the speedster was the joint leading wicket-taker of the series with Ravichandran Ashwin.

While India decided not to name a designated vice-captain for the Bangladesh series, they have re-named Bumrah as skipper Rohit Sharma's deputy for the upcoming three-match home Test series against New Zealand.

The first Test is set to be played at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru from October 6 onwards. The second (October 24-28) and third (November 1-5) Tests will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune, and Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, respectively.

India's squad for New Zealand Test series: Rohit Sharma (c), Jasprit Bumrah (vc), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (wk), Dhruv Jurel (wk), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, and Akash Deep.
