Brampton Wolves chased down 80 in 11.2 overs to beat the Bangla Tigers Mississauga in the 14th match of the Global T20 Canada 2024 season. Toronto Nationals then defeated Vancouver Knights in a low-scoring affair after posting a total of 127.

Montreal Tigers are still in first place on the Global T20 Canada 2024 points table with three wins from four matches. They have a Net Run Rate of +1.417. Toronto Nationals jumped to second place from third with three wins from six matches and a Net Run Rate of +0.203.

Brampton Wolves moved to third position from fourth with three wins from five games and a Net Run Rate of +0.497, while Bangla Tigers Mississauga slipped to fourth position from second. They also have three wins from five matches but a Net Run Rate of -0.656.

Surrey Jaguars are still in fifth place with one victory from four matches and a Net Run Rate of +0.226. Vancouver Knights remain in sixth place with five losses from six outings and a Net Run Rate of -1.058.


Andrew Tye's triple strike powers Brampton Wolves to victory over Bangla Tigers Mississauga in Global T20 Canada 2024

Brampton Wolves won the toss against Bangla Tigers Mississauga and elected to bowl. The Tigers lost their first five wickets before posting 20 runs on the board. They were eventually bowled out for a paltry 79 in 13 overs. Andrew Tye and Thomas Draca took three wickets each for the Wolves.

In reply, the Wolves lost Kobe Herft on the fourth delivery of their innings for a duck. However, David Warner took charge and remained unbeaten on 44 off 33 deliveries to help the Wolves win comfortably by eight wickets in 11.2 overs. Tye won the Player of the Match award for his stellar bowling performance.

Vancouver Knights won the toss and elected to bowl against Toronto Nationals in match 15 of the Global T20 Canada 2024 season. Roston Chase was the only player to cross the 20-run mark for the Nationals as they could only manage 127/9 in 20 overs. Mohammad Amir was the pick of the bowlers for the Knights with 3/24 from his four overs.

Despite a half-century from Richie Berrington, the Knights were bundled out for 108 and lost the match by 19 runs. Romario Shepherd was the pick of the bowlers for the Nationals with 3/17 from 3.5 overs.
