The league stage of the Global T20 Canada 2024 concluded on Tuesday, August 6, with a rain-sodden double-header at the CAA Centre in Brampton. The opening match of the day between Brampton Wolves and Bangla Tigers Mississauga was entirely washed out due to rain.

The second game between Surrey Jaguars and Montreal Tigers also turned out to be a damp-squib affair, considering the contest lasted just two overs before the officials called off play.

The two result-less outcomes ensured that Montreal Tigers finished the league stage at the top of the Global T20 Canada 2024 points table, and will now face Brampton Wolves in the first qualifier of the competition on August 9. Bangla Tigers Mississauga and Toronto Nationals have also qualified for the playoffs and will cross paths in the Eliminator on August 10.
